Religions for Peace at the Second Parliamentary Conference on Interfaith Dialogue in Rome

Religions for Peace is proud to support the Second Parliamentary Conference on Interfaith Dialogue, organized by the Italian Parliament and the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU). The conference, held under the theme “Strengthening Trust and Embracing Hope for Our Common Future,” will take place in Rome from June 19 to 21, 2025.

This high-level gathering will bring together parliamentariansreligious and belief leadersfaith-based organizationsUnited Nations representativescivil society actors, and academics from around the world.  Participants will share best practices on how collaboration between parliaments and religious or belief communities can foster peaceful, just, and inclusive societies. The discussions aim to strengthen trust between legislative bodies and the broader public, reinforce social cohesion, and inspire hope amid global challenges. The conference will also address pressing national, regional, and international issues, encouraging actionable recommendations to enhance cooperation between political and faith-based institutions.

Dr. Francis Kuria, Secretary General of Religions for peace will speak during the conference.
