Leading peacebuilders, religious leaders, and conflict resolution practitioners will gather in the DC metropolitan area on May 21-22, 2025, for an invitation-only forum titled “Sustainable Peace Networks: Multi-View and Multi-Faith Forum.” The event, organized by the Focolare Forum for Dialogue and Culture in collaboration with partners including the International Center for Religion and Diplomacy, Religions for Peace International, and Fordham University’s Institute on Religion, Law and Lawyer’s Work, aims to foster actionable strategies for building sustainable peace in current conflict zones. The forum will bring together dedicated individuals with extensive experience in peacebuilding, including a specially invited participant recognized for their significant contributions to the field over many years. Dr. Francis Kuria, Secretary General of Religions for Peace will participate. The forum will, also, feature the participation of Margaret Karram and Jesus Moran, President and Co-President of the Focolare Movement, underscoring the spiritual and interfaith dimensions of peacebuilding.
