Dr. Tarek Dahroug

Dr. Dahroug is an expert in foreign affairs with a focus on contextualizing the challenges of fundamentalist Islam within western societies.

Dr. Dahroug is an accomplished diplomat and has worked internationally for over 20 years in complex posts such as Morocco, Libya, Greece, and Pakistan where he resolved countless difficult and highly sensitive political crises. Having been born in Egypt, he is fluent in Arabic, and he is also fluent in English, and French. Dr. Dahroug completed his PhD from the Sorbonne University in Paris on the subject of Islam in Europe, and has additional degrees in International Relations, Journalism, and Islamic Studies.

Dr. Dahroug is an eminent journalist and speaker having been published widely in several languages on international politics, including the subject of geopolitics of the Muslim Brotherhood in Europe, radical Islam in Europe, political evolutions in Pakistan, and the Turkish elections, among others. Dr. Dahroug also has extensive experience in print media, radio, and broadcasting having working within the Egyptian Broadcasting Corporation.
