Mr. Jimmy Otieno Obuya

Mr Jimmy Otieno Obuya is the Deputy Director of Programmes and Global Coordinator for the Faith for Positive Change for Children, Families and Communities (FPCC) Initiative.

He coordinates the global tripartite FPCC partnership that brings together Religions for Peace, UNICEF and The Joint Learning Initiative for Faith and Local Communities (JLI).

Mr Obuya has over ten years’ experience in multi-faith based programming and collaboration in the areas of health, children & youth, governance, policy advocacy, ICT and communications. He has worked with community, regional and global programs and partnerships that integrate faith based approaches and innovations in building the collective resilience of faith communities in response to humanitarian and development needs. Mr Obuya is a servant to religious leaders within the multi-faith collaborative space.

He is currently completing his Masters in Monitoring and Evaluation and has a Bachelor of Science (Physics) Degree from the University of Nairobi among other qualifications gained over the years.

When not doing any of the listed assignments, you will find him reading, writing, photography, spending time with his family and volunteering to various youth mentorship and community based social justice issues in Nairobi, Kenya.
