Joseph Lamport serves as the Communications Director at Religions for Peace, working on strategic communication planning, social media campaigns, and writing and managing other digital content. Before joining Religions for Peace, Mr. Lamport directed communications on a variety of international development programs, including Alive & Thrive, a global maternal, infant and young child nutrition initiative; numerous USAID economic development projects in West Africa, Southern Africa and the Middle East and North Africa regions; and the USAID Famine Early Warning Systems Network. He brings experience in developing strategic communications to achieve diverse objectives and goals.

Joe holds an M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University.
