Mr. Kensuke Osada is a staff member of the Rissho Kosei-kai External Relations Group and a member of the International Youth Committee.

Kensuke Osada graduated in March 2017 from Hakuoh University in Tochigi, Japan, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in English Education and obtained teaching licenses for English at the junior and senior high school levels. During his undergraduate studies, he spent one year studying in the state of Indiana in the United States, further cultivating his linguistic proficiency and intercultural awareness.

Following his graduation, he joined Rissho Kosei-kai, a global lay Buddhist movement that played a pivotal role in the founding of Religions for Peace. He was subsequently assigned to Rissho Kosei-kai International, a department responsible for supporting overseas dissemination activities. His primary responsibilities included the translation of official documents and training materials, as well as providing Japanese–English interpretation at ceremonial occasions and training programs. He was also engaged in English-language editorial work for a monthly newsletter, a magazine, and book publications. In addition, he played a central role in the multilingual production of institutional brochures, promotional videos, and other materials.

Since December 2023, Osada has been serving in the External Relations Group, where he is primarily responsible for international interreligious dialogue and cooperation. In this capacity, he plans and organizes dialogue programs that foster mutual understanding between members of Rissho Kosei-kai and those of diverse religious traditions, while also engaging in public communication through social media.

In addition, since January 2025, he has been serving as a board member of the Youth Committee of Religions for Peace Japan, contributing to the advancement of youth engagement in interfaith cooperation.
