Ms. Alexa Mamoulides

Communications Associate

Alexa Mamoulides serves as the Communications Associate at Religions for Peace, working on strategic communication planning, social media campaigns, and writing and managing other digital content. Before joining Religions for Peace, she worked as a Communications Specialist for a global research publishing company for over four years. She brings experience in aligning messaging across audiences and analyzing contact data in order to improve targeted communication. Prior to this work, she worked with various small NYC nonprofits on development, fundraising, and event planning.

Alexa holds a B.A. in Linguistics & Spanish from New York University and an M.L.A. in Religion from Harvard University Extension School. Her graduate research focused on the impact of Evangelical Christianity on media, culture, and politics in the U.S.

Her publications include the Spanish poetry collection And a Woman Walked and Walked and Walked by Julia Uceda for which she was a translator and an academic poster presentation at the Fan Studies Network of North America 2025 Conference.
