She serves on the Executive Committees of the UK Interfaith Network, Council of Dharmic Faiths UK, Patron of the Council of Dharmic Faiths, Patron of Alma Royalton Kisch Inter Faith Youth Trust (London), member of Interfaith Scotland and is GNNSJ Scotland Coordinator (an international Sikh organization). She is an experienced educationalist who has taught in the primary and secondary sector for thirty years and worked in the interfaith field for over twenty years. She has a BEd.(Hons) degree (London University), ATQ Primary Qualification (Strathclyde University) and a post-graduate Diploma in Religious Education from Glasgow University.
