Priestess Schulthess has 30 years of expertise in multilateral diplomacy on behalf of Indigenous Peoples, Women and Environment and Development organisations.

Priestess Beatriz Schulthess has more than 30 years of expertise in multilateral diplomacy in human rights, environment and development.
She is a Kolla indigenous woman, currently President of the Indigenous Peoples Ancestral Spiritual Council. Mrs. Schulthess been with Religions for Peace since 1999 – active in its Latin American and Caribbean Regional Council, later on as Religions for Peace Co-President, and more recently as Honorary President.
She practices ancestral indigenous spirituality and is an expert of ancestral traditional knowledge of various indigenous peoples’ traditions. She continues to research and teach to uphold the Indigenous people’s ancestral traditions.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Schulthess worked as a consultant to the President of the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development and with various international organizations.
