Stopping Sexual Harassment Where Religious Communities Meet

Religions for Peace has long recognized that there are no human rights without equality, no progress without the full engagement of girls and women, and no healing without the courage to face real problems. Dr. Azza Karam has recently co-authored a piece on “Stopping Sexual Harassment Where Religious Communities Meet.”  It asks inter-religious leaders to go beyond statements, policies and due process and do more create protected spaces where religious and non-religious communities confront and address the most challenging facets of human dynamics. The piece has also been carried by the Washington Post.
